Meet the Artist | Fiona Connell
Adelaide’s very own textile and embroidery artist Fiona Connell will be at The Bobbin Tree on Saturday 15th March.
Fiona works with eco dyes, repurposed textiles, and vintage embroidery and her work is featured in the current issue of Inspirations Magazine #125.
We’re thrilled to have her come by so you can meet her in person!

Framing Like a Pro | Jodie Prymke
Learn the conservation techniques of lacing and pinning your needlework in readiness for framing or permanent display from the expert.
Join Jodie Prymke for a practical and informative session and Learn to Prepare Needlework for Framing Like a Pro.
You will need to bring:
1) A needle
2)A spool or ball of 12 perle or finer cotton thread
3)A finished embroidery or piece of fabric to practice on, with outside measurements no larger than 30cm x 35cm, to allow for 5cm on each side to wrap around the archival foamboard
