Spring is here!

And right on time – it is show week after all – stormy weather arrived to remind us Mother Nature has a mind of her own.

Here at The Bobbin Tree, however, we’re basking in the glory of spring blooms, flowers, and blossoms galore.

We’ve extended the display of Ana Mallah’s new book In Bloom, along with all her beautiful projects and kits – if you have not had a chance to see it in person, now is the time to visit us.

One of the many things that makes living in the Land Down Under unique is celebrating Christmas in summer instead of winter.

This means building sandcastles instead of snowmen, cooking prawns on the barbie instead of roasting chestnuts by the fire and having the blazing sun beating down on a hot tin roof instead of snow-covered rooftops.

So when winter does arrive in the land of the hot dusty plains, we try to make up for missing out on a winter Christmas by celebrating a little thing called Christmas in July.

With July only a few weeks away, we’re getting a head start on things with the launch of a magnificent Twelve Days of Christmas Ornament Series designed by Larissa Holland.

We have so much to share with you about this fabulous series of designs including the launch of an extraordinary 12 class workshop for you attend.

Can you feel the chill in the air? After a long, hot and very dry summer, the weather has finally turned. The leaves are falling, and the days are getting shorter. It’s the time of year when we start enjoying cosy cuddle-ups and evenings by the fireplace and with more time spent indoors, that also means more opportunities to stitch!

With that in mind we have some glorious winter projects for you as well as some winter warming activities for you to participate in-store…
