Bamboo the Panda

This design captures a lifelike Chinese panda relaxing by the bamboo.
‘Bamboo the Panda’ has been designed for beginners. He is worked in thicker ply wool and therefore is quite a quick project using simple yet effective stitches.
*Hint: Before starting, make a nice cup of tea, put your feet up, & read all instructions carefully.. I promise success will follow!

– Solvi, water-soluable transfer plastic/paper
– Assorted crewel wools
– Tapestry wools
– Fine embroidery wools
– Pearle silks
– Stranded cotton
– Stranded Silk
– Needles
– All written instructions, Patterns & diagrams to complete the project.

*Please note: Fabric is not included.
Suggested fabric: Fine wool blanketing or doctors flannel. Due to the colour of the panda, it is best worked on a coloured background. I have worked the design in pale green, but pinks and blues could be substituted.

Recommended for use as a knee rug or framed picture.
